About this retreat
Come for five days of yoga, meditation and just being in the beautiful setting of Namaste Barn in the countryside of Devon with Norman and Maitripushpa. The first session of the morning will be meditation and mindful movement, followed by a gentle exploring of dynamic yoga/intuitive flow. In the afternoon there will be Yin yoga: a practice of softness and stillness followed by an afternoon meditation session each day.
The morning yoga class will have plenty of props and plenty of options. I aspire to make it as appropriate as possible to all participants. The afternoon class is Yin yoga.
A beautiful way to balance the stronger and more dynamic form. Yin yoga is much slower. We stay in postures for a longer periods of time.
Together Norman and Maitripushpa have many years of experience. They know that yoga and meditation can be enjoyable ways to make available energetic potential that could enhance our lives. They know that yoga and meditation can help us to become more flexible, physically stronger and improve our stamina, focus and awareness. They aspire that practitioners on retreat experience release of tensions and anxieties.

Testimonials
"Taking in the misty sunrise over the valley from Namaste Barn is an experience of pure magic. I left nourished on so many levels; by the beautiful landscape of Dartmoor, Norman and Maitripushpa's profound yet accessible yoga and meditation, the soulful community of practice and Virginia's delicious, creative food! Thank you [to the founder of Namaste Barn] for having the vision and birthing such a deeply healing sanctuary." Julia, August 2023

Meditation - Maitripushpa Bois
Meditation with Maitripushpa is varied; this can be a great introduction to meditation and also a wonderful opportunity for existing practitioners to develop their practice. She will teach two sessions each day that may include body awareness, walking meditation, sitting or various contemplative practices.
Maitripushpa has many years of study and practice. She is constantly watching and learning how the meditation and yoga practices enrich and influence each other.
